For the fourth time, in a joint cooperation of Konstantin Preslavsky University of Shumen from Bulgaria, Life Activities Advancement Center and IEPSP from Belgrade – Serbia and P.A.L.O. from Patras – Greece a Congress on early prevention, detection and diagnostics of verbal communication disorders was held in Varna, 5th-7th, September, 2014. The aim of the Congress was to bring in contact experts who deposited their research works within a wide range of problems and technologies ranging from fundamental to applied aspects, experiences and knowledge from the following sectors: linguistics, audiology, speech pathology, psychology, neurology, pedagogy, sociobiology, electroacoustics, pediatrics, psychophysiology, neurobiochemistry, prenatal medicine and psychology, etc. in order to multidisciplinarily observe the possibilities of contemporary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and methods which can present the basis of early prevention of hearing impairment and speech-communication disorders in children and offer unique systematic solutions in this area.
40 full papers are presented in the collection, including 5 plenary oral speeches and 5 posters in print versions. Congress participants were from Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria,Israel and Russia.
Each author takes personal responsibility for the authenticity of content and English translation of their articles.
