Reading after seeing the book trailer (Review of Desislava Ivanova’s book Book trailers and books. Shumen, Konstantin Preslavsky Publishing House, 2014)
Abstract: This review discusses the terminology and genre fluidity of the new genre book trailer which made its way on the Internet and won recognition online. It is already gaining popularity in Bulgarian media practice. Desislava Ivanova’s book, to which this text is dedicated, is the first attempt in Bulgarian media knowledge in this regard - to clarify the methodological, didactic, theoretical and receptive options of the phenomenon book trailer. This review comments on, assesses and gives ideas to develop the potential of the topic in the direction of the theory and practice of reading and visual arts.
