============================= Abstract: The paper investigates how adjectives of quality are used in motor magazines (American and Bulgarian) in order to determine if the uses of the specific lexical items differ with respect to their syntactic structure, content meaning and pragmatic management. Though the content of motor magazines in print and online version is quite similar in most countries and media, globally and locally, there are certain disparities with respect to lexis and word preference. The article further focuses on adjectives of quality with respect to their linguistic, vocabulary and real-life usages performed in source language media texts and their Bulgarian counterparts as well as on the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the adjectives exemplified in the two corpora.
