Abstract: The study presents Armenians in Shumen cultural life, the specifics of Armenian culture, the creation of the Armenian neighborhood and the construction of St. Bogoroditsa church and the establishment of the Armenian school in Shumen. A special focus is put on the Avsharyan Complex, which recreates the urban house atmosphere, typical for the Revival, and has been declared a cultural monument of regional significance.
