This happens under the influence of a number of social, economical and political factors. In addition, they change the way the Gagauz peoples see the world. The severity of those changes is researched in the 1980s by ethnographical expeditions. Among the research topics are the traditional worldviews on meteorology among the Gagauz living in Valchidol municipality in the region of Varna.
