============================= Abstract: The object of the present exposition is the attributive and predicative function of the adjectives in the biblical quotes in the Old Bulgarian translation of St. Cyril of Jerusalem’s Cathechism (GIM, Syn. 478) in connection with the acquisition of the Christian concept sphere by the neophyte Slavs. A total of 930 adjectives were extracted from the studied monument, and 66 adjectives were used in the biblical quotes (476 Old Testament and 558 New Testament). Adjectives are marked as a term component in polylexia related to the dogmas of the Symbol of faith and Christian ethics.
